Rob brings 28 years of direct marketing experience to Wiland’s Ultimate Data Division team in his role as Senior Vice President, Solutions and Insights. Having specialized during the last 10 years in leading account management and business development teams, Rob has extensive experience serving clients across industries, working with them to leverage data to build stronger relationships with prospects and customers and increase their marketing precision and performance.
Prior to joining Wiland, Rob held leadership positions in both data-centric and creative roles at companies including Epsilon, Datamark, Inc., Amrion, Inc., American Family Publishers, Rodale Publishing, and Prentice-Hall/Simon and Schuster. An active member of the direct marketing governance community, Rob has been part of the Data & Marketing Association (DMA) Ethics Operating Committee since 2009, having served as Chair in 2015 and 2016. Rob is also a five-time DMA Echo Award Judge and has served on the Board of Trustees for DMA’s Marketing Edge Organization.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys skiing, fitness, yoga, and adventure motorcycling. He enjoys spending time with his family and being out on his bike whenever possible, including while doing charity fundraising work as a brand ambassador for the nonprofit organization Backcountry Discovery Routes.

Division Vice President, Consumer Merchandise
You can tell Sandy Mickelson is a leader the minute you meet her. She’s brimming with energy, ideas and insight, plus a great laugh. Her large, loving family calls her “the fun aunt” for the adventurous “Camp Colorado” gatherings she creates for 14 kids. Sandy is from Minnesota and was raised with a true Midwestern work ethic. She has worked for Fingerhut, QVC, Carlson Marketing, Neodata, Concepts Direct, and others in her 30-year career. Sandy has held key management positions working with hundreds of direct marketing companies as both client and vendor, and she is one of Wiland’s co-founders.
The eldest of seven and a born problem solver, her passion is brainstorming with clients, then figuring out ways to find them new customers. That same can-do spirit drives her as a volunteer helping homeless people become independent and working to meet other community needs through her church. From appearing on Jay Leno’s show to appearing every day at Wiland, Kristen’s has been quite a journey. This Chicago native found her way back home after studying at the University of Wisconsin–Madison as a marketing and accounting major and being a member of the UW Dance Team, performing at many football and basketball games, the 2000 Rose Bowl Parade and Game and, yes, that appearance on Leno.
Before working at Wiland, she tried her hand at accounting, but it wasn’t for her. She then tried sales and event planning for Hilton Hotels and voila!, a match. Concurrently, she danced in the NBA for the Chicago Bulls as a Chicago Luvabull. In 2008, Kristen found her way to Wiland, where she’s a natural at business development, working with a great team, traveling the country, meeting new people, and working prospective clients.
When not working, Kristen teaches Piloxing, a non-stop interval fusion class of standing Pilates, boxing, and dance. She also loves watching her boys play sports, as well as traveling with her husband, family, and friends.

Luanne has over 25 years of experience in direct marketing, helping clients in the multichannel retail industry meet and exceed their marketing goals. As VP of Client Services, Luanne manages a team of six account managers who specialize in the catalog and solo/continuity industry.
Luanne began her career as a housefile circulation analyst for Fingerhut Corporation in Minnesota. She then moved to the Tupperware Corporation, where she helped launch the company’s direct-to-consumer business. Luanne continued her direct marketing career as a Product Specialist at Cendant where she worked with affinity marketers to utilize their files for direct mail and telemarketing programs. From 1998 through 2004, she was a National Account Manager with Abacus, managing some of the organization’s largest multi-title clients.
Luanne enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog Lucy. She also enjoys traveling, gardening and accompanying her husband on fly fishing trips, a good book firmly in hand.

As a strong client advocate and avid problem solver, Jeff Liebrock brings over 20 years of marketing industry experience to the Wiland team. Joining Wiland in 2016 as Vice President, Solutions & Insights, Jeff now leverages his extensive experience to creatively solve clients’ strategic business needs in his new role as Senior Vice President, Client Services.
After graduating from the University of Arizona, Jeff began his marketing career in advertising with agencies including The Publicis Groupe, The Integer Group, and Baum Arensmier & Talent. Quickly recognizing the market’s evolution and overwhelming client demand for analytics to drive successful campaigns, Jeff focused on developing data-driven solutions that fuel marketing performance, holding leadership positions with Epsilon prior to his role with Wiland. As Wiland’s Senior Vice President, Client Services, Jeff partners with clients and enterprise teams to drive objectives and growth through industry-leading solutions, citing Wiland’s continual commitment to innovation as what truly sets the company and its team apart.

Amy is a Coloradan through and through. She’s as attuned to the mountains as she is to database marketing. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in marketing. Amy applies her 14 years of industry experience to client services and product management here at Wiland. She believes that trust, integrity and good communication create the foundation for strong business partnerships.
As an avid traveler, Amy reports that visiting different places and meeting all sorts of interesting people lets her see the world through a lens different from her own. Although she loves the mountains, she also enjoys visiting anywhere near the ocean. When not at work, Amy can be found hiking, doing yoga and enjoying the outdoors with her husband, their two kids and their dog.

Hailing from “The Little Apple” a.k.a. Manhattan, Kansas, Christy migrated to Colorado two decades ago and loves the beauty it offers. Her biggest joy in life is spending time with her 11-year old son: hiking, fishing and creating fun new memories with family and friends. A self-proclaimed bookworm, she loves inspirational reading and sharing her positivity with others.
Christy started a career in direct marketing with various roles in direct to consumer, B2B, publishing, and retail, so she knows how to provide excellent client service. She has built and shipped models, run client research, analyzed results, defined trade areas, made recommendations and partnered with her clients as an extension of their marketing teams.
After four years at Wiland, she shines with a deep understanding of modeling, best practices and a can-do attitude. Michelle’s over 15-year career in digital marketing extends across a variety of facets within the arena. With experience directing marketing programs for internationally recognized brands and building teams from the ground up in a start-up environment, Michelle brings her entrepreneurial grit, excitement, and eagerness to elevate client success to her role as Client Services Director with Wiland.
From e-commerce to paid search, social media, email, and more, Michelle’s leadership experience in digital marketing includes working from both an agency and vendor perspective with some of the world’s largest consumer brands. Most recently, Michelle built, oversaw, and grew the Client Services department of Denver-based Digital Fusion, developing cross-agency processes from scratch while simultaneously meeting and exceeding clients’ needs.
Michelle staunchly believes that each client comes with unique goals and paths to success, and that it’s through entrenchment in the client’s brand that she can become an extension of their team to foster bringing their marketing intelligence to the next level. In her role with Wiland, Michelle looks forward to expanding her knowledge of the offline side of marketing and becoming a true asset to her clients and the Wiland Client Services team.

Julie, a Colorado native, brings a decade of industry experience to Wiland. After earning a bachelor of science in business administration with a marketing focus from the University of Northern Colorado, she joined Z-24, now an Experian company, as an account coordinator. Julie was soon promoted to an account management role, where she remained for nearly 10 years.
Julie knows a thing or two about working hard and juggling a number of different tasks: She and husband Troy have four children. Julie left Experian to focus on raising her children for several years before joining Wiland in 2015. Family comes first for Julie—a sentiment shared by CEO Phil Wiland—and she spends most of her free time with her husband and kids. The family enjoys bike rides and trips to the movies, and Julie can often be found cheering on her children at the pool, baseball field, basketball court, or soccer field. “We love competitive sports and won’t miss a game!” she says. She brings that same can-do spirit to her clients at Wiland.

Senior Client Services Director
Becky has the gift of understanding large, bulky objects…like the U.S. Postal Service, which awarded her their highest honor: the Partnership for Progress Award. How does such a thing happen? It’s been pretty much a straight path for Becky as a near-native of Boulder. She arrived at age 2 and later graduated from the University of Colorado, then learned publishing by working in subscription fulfillment services and became skilled in handling direct mail.
She has tackled a variety of management positions, mostly overseeing large production operations involving hundreds of employees. This experience led her to become an advocate for improving processes, recognition, and rewards. Her passion for great customer service led her to Wiland, where Becky gets to combine her direct marketing proficiency and professionalism with client service.
She applies that passion not just to large, bulky objects but also to small, slinky ones: As an avid organic gardener, Becky believes the lowly earthworm can save the world! She’s also an animal lover to the core. She and her husband are active with Colorado Horse Rescue. They’ve adopted three horses, providing them retirement on their 10-acre pasture along with three rescue dogs plus a flock of geese, ducks and chickens.

What do golf, craft beer, baseball statistics, and direct marketing have in common? If you know Scott Kaplan, you know the answer is just that: Scott Kaplan. Scott is savvy enough to know that both work and play involve knowing the fundamentals, practicing discipline and paying attention to detail. So whether it’s working on his golf swing, keeping baseball stats, scoping a top-notch database or building highly predictive response models, he believes getting the fundamentals right is critical.
In over two decades, Scott has executed merge-purge jobs for publishers, developed databases and reporting packages for multichannel retailers, deployed email campaigns, and pored over the vast data and details that make models hum. Scott came to Wiland in 2012 after being at Abacus Direct, EDS, MessageMedia and Neodata. When not exploiting data and statistics for clients, Scott spends time with his family, skiing, and playing golf or baseball. The craft beers come after all that.

Deven spent the first 20 years of her career in Hospitality and Tourism. She started by traveling the world to run successful meetings and events for Fortune 500 clientele. Deven then put that travel and event expertise to use in marketing Denver as a major convention and tourism destination at Visit Denver. Deven then moved into the five-star hotel industry, first serving her own accounts and later, joining the Executive Team and managing Sales & Catering. Deven has carried her extensive client services experience into Direct Marketing at Wiland, joining the company in 2013.
Originally from the Upper Midwest, Deven doesn’t take the sunshine and mountains for granted. She spends her free time outside, exploring all that Colorado has to offer with her husband and three daughters. Two teenagers and a toddler always keep things interesting!

Conviction in her steadfast client first attitude has driven Donna’s career from its beginnings and propelled her into the role of Client Services Director at Wiland. With a focus on supporting clients and helping them to reach their full potential, Donna aims to bring the utmost attentiveness and Wiland’s reputable company ethics into all of her client interactions.
A native New Yorker, Donna moved to Colorado in 1992. With a multifaceted career that includes positions with Neodata, Electronic Data Systems, Coors Brewing Company, and IBM, Donna has experience working towards both internal business operations efficiencies as well as customer and client interaction and relationship management.
In her spare time, Donna enjoys camping, fishing, and traveling. Spending time with family and friends is also a priority for Donna, especially if it’s around a campfire or fire pit.

After beginning her career in education, she chose to pause for a few years in order to raise her children. However, Grace couldn’t sit still for long and decided it was time for a bold move, to focus on her data marketing career. After learning and growing as a Senior Associate Account Manager, she is now happy to be a part of the Wiland family. She is especially looking forward to growing her new accounts and gaining new ones.
Grace and her husband, Josh, have four children with whom they stay quite busy. She is active in her church, enjoys volunteering, and loves spending time in the outdoors including camping, ﬁshing, and occasional races.

In her role as Client Services Director with Wiland, Rachael Young seeks to leverage her account management and technology-centric experience to become a go-to strategic resource for her clients. Rachael brings determination and a positive attitude to all of her interactions as she looks to create lasting relationships with clients and help them exceed their marketing performance expectations.
After graduating from the University of Missouri, Rachael moved to Kansas City and began her career working in the healthcare technology industry as a Senior Analyst, managing hospital software upgrades and virtual training sessions for clients. Seeking to further her career in account management outside of the healthcare industry and immerse herself in marketing technologies centered on the power of data, Rachael came to Wiland with an eagerness to foster client success and continue expanding her acumen in data-driven marketing.
Living in Colorado is a dream for Rachael. An avid hiker, skier, and dog lover, Rachael spends her time outside of work enjoying the outdoors and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Dave is passionate about learning and exploring, both at work and in his personal life. He loves to challenge his own ideas and notions, always seeking to improve. These traits, coupled with his love of facts and statistics, drew him to direct marketing some 20 years ago; and these virtues are brought to his role at Wiland, where he oversees product development and marketing for the many vertical markets that Wiland serves.
Before joining the company, Dave spent nearly a decade in senior marketing positions at multi-brand catalog retail companies including Astral Direct and Concepts Direct. He also has significant service-side experience, having worked with major direct-marketing clients at EDS, the Polk Company and Prime Response.
Dave graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, and from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he received his MBA and, more importantly, met his wife. Having lived in Springfield, Missouri for a number of years near the beautiful Ozark Mountains, Dave and his family have returned to Colorado where the much larger Rocky Mountains form the iconic western skyline. When not developing new marketing solutions for our clients, Dave enjoys watching his teenage son and daughter play competitive soccer, traveling to lands near and far, and, of course, exploring.

SVP, Digital Product Manager
Immersed in the exciting personal computer revolution of the 80s, Will cut his teeth on desktop publishing and computer graphic arts. After earning a bachelor’s degree in education and physics from Brigham Young University and an MBA from North Carolina State University with an emphasis on product innovation and marketing, he developed online storefronts and other early web technology.
He then helped other innovative companies turn ideas into viable marketing tools. Recently, his focus has been on the appropriate, secure use of consumer data for effective marketing; optimization tools for creative, audience and media; cutting-edge technical developments in digital marketing; and the evolution of mobile, local, video and other rapidly emerging digital channels.
Will says his true work and passion is at home, where he helps care for, and learns from, six amazing children. He teaches safety and leadership skills to Boy Scouts and to adult Scout advisers. An accomplished and award-winning Toastmaster, Will stands ready to address any gathering. As our go-to guy on digital, Will expands Wiland’s bandwidth by translating geeky concepts into simple explanations and thorny technical challenges into elegant product solutions.

Throughout his career, Wells’ core mission has been to help companies thrive by identifying their challenges and building solutions that fuel success. He brings this same results-oriented outlook to his role as Vice President of Product Management at Wiland.
After graduating from Amherst College in his native New England, Wells began his over 20-year marketing career at direct marketing powerhouses The Danbury Mint and Time Life. More recently, he’s helped companies like The Discovery Channel, Time, Inc., and EBSCO succeed by leveraging data and digital platforms to engage audiences and by leading multi-channel integration initiatives. As part of the Wiland team, Wells enjoys having daily opportunities to use his multifaceted experience to support clients and colleagues alike.
As a recent Colorado transplant, Wells’ top hobby has been gaping awestruck at the Rocky Mountain vistas with his wife and two sons. He also enjoys jogging with his dogs, cheering on and coaching his lacrosse-obsessed sons, and relishing the unfolding of each day with family and friends.

Lia’s Colorado roots run very deep. Her great-grandfather settled a mining town south of Boulder around the turn of the 19th century, and her family has been here ever since. After two years at Walla Walla College in Washington state, she headed back to the University of Northern Colorado, where she earned her B.A. in psychology, and she’s been in Colorado ever since.
Lia spent nearly six years in marketing, sales and event planning at the Fort Collins Country Club. Here at Wiland, she manages all aspects of our corporate identity and brand, along with trade show attendance, sponsorships, marketing messaging and strategy, and web content. She flies all over the country for Wiland, but when she’s not doing the traveling she loves, relaxing at her country home at the base of the foothills. She and her husband, Zack, have property with a small flock of chickens, sheep, a couple dogs, and a huge garden. Lia enjoys fishing, boating, hiking and camping, and spending time with family.
