Nonprofit Innovator Charles Cadigan Joins Wiland
July 10, 2017 – Wiland, Inc., a leading marketing intelligence company, has announced that Charles Cadigan has joined the company to serve as Senior Vice President, New Business Development, on Wiland’s nonprofit industry team. With over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Cadigan joins Wiland with a history of maximizing organizations’ fundraising results and developing new, innovative strategies that lead to client success.
Cadigan’s vast experience spans the high-energy initial days of three start-up companies to senior positions at some of the nonprofit sector’s most innovative and respected organizations. Collaborating with Dan Wells, Division Vice President, and Wiland’s nonprofit team, Cadigan will be working to enhance clients’ fundraising energy and resources through strategic, forward-thinking solutions while leveraging Wiland’s vast data resources, powerful analytics, and proprietary audience modeling. Cadigan will be based in the Washington, D.C. area.
“Charlie has worked with industry leaders who are helping to solve some of the world’s most critical challenges,” says Wells. “His vast and unique knowledge of the nonprofit sector will help Wiland continue to provide game-changing solutions and results for our clients and partners.”
Prior to joining Wiland, Cadigan held leadership positions at top industry providers including TransAmerica Marketing Services, Epsilon, Acxiom, and Frontline Data Group. He also has served in leadership roles with international, leading-edge nonprofits, including the National Geographic Society and Youth for Understanding. Cadigan has chaired committees both regionally and nationally for the Direct Marketing Association and the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and he founded the Irish Heritage Society of America, growing it from a passion project into a successful nonprofit organization, through 2011.
Charlie’s hiring with Wiland likewise marks an exciting time of expansion for the company’s satellite office in Alexandria, Virginia. The office opened in February 2017 with the goal of forging even stronger relationships with nonprofit and political clients and playing a more prominent role in the D.C. area marketplace.
“Serving our clients’ needs is the primary focus of our business,” says Roger Hiyama, Senior Vice President, Client Services serving in Wiland’s nonprofit team. “Being located in close proximity to our clients allows us to more frequently and efficiently collaborate and strategize with them as we build more sophisticated marketing audience solutions to improve their bottom-line results.”
“It’s an exciting time to be joining the Wiland team,” says Cadigan. “Wiland’s offerings to its clients and its performance, commitment to customer service, and unquestionable integrity are unparalleled in the industry.”
